Our new Cacao Infused Honey is made by mixing organic cacao powder with our organic raw wildflower honey. The result is rich dark and deep chocolate flavoured honey.
Spread on toast, mix in yogurt, drizzle on desserts, add to your coffee, make chocolate milk/smoothie, or use your imagination. You can substitute regular chocolate with this honey to reduce refined sugar intake.
Infused to our organic honey is ultra-premium cacao from the Vraem district, province of Cusco, Peru.
Our cacao is carefully hand-selected, then fermented and sun-dried to perfection. It’s crushed into nibs, winnowed to remove the skins, and ground into a liquid. This liquefied cacao is then pressed to extract most of the cacao butter, leaving behind a dry puck that’s finely milled into a rich, smooth powder. Our cacao powder is clean and pure—never treated with harsh chemicals—and is processed at low temperatures from start to finish to preserve its exceptional flavour and nutritional integrity.
