Discontinued

This product has been discontinued and we do not have plans to restock this item. Due to the floral source of our hives, our honey tends to have a rapid rate of crystallization, and the customers would often receive crystallized honey. This problem is also exacerbated due to the sealed nature of the honeycombs which prevents us from inspecting the product prior to sending them. Therefore, we do not feel that we can reliably sell this product at a level of quality that meets our standards and have discontinued this product.

---

Oneroot comb honey is as raw as it can get. This round comb honey is untouched by human hands and comes straight from the beehives in the vast wilderness of Northern Alberta.

There is more pollen, propolis, and beeswax compared to any other type of honey. Everything in the container is edible. It's like chewing candy, but healthier!

As with all of our honey, this honeycomb is free of antibiotics and is single-sourced.

Please note the texture will vary greatly depending on the season. During the warm season, it will be soft or runny. During cold seasons, it will crystallize and harden. This is 100% natural honey that is temperature sensitive.

If your comb honey is crystallized, put it in an oven and turn on the light only (no heat). The warmth from the light bulb will liquidize the crystallized honey.

How it's made:

Round comb frame

  1. A round frame is placed in the beehive.
  2. Bees fill up the cells with comb and honey. Then they cap it with beeswax.
  3. We pop it out of its form and straight to your table!

Delicious!

I'm always looking for the most raw food I can possible find and this fits the bill. It's great to have a delicious treat that I know is actually healthy for me. This was my first time trying one root honey and I was impressed. Prompt delivery as well, thank you one root!

Yummiest Honeycomb Ever

Just got one from the store on the first floor of Shops On Yonge Mall. It is so divine and delicious. My family cannot have enough of it. My kids were enjoying it like chewy candy. This is good because it is so much more healthier than processed confectionery. I absolutely love the fact that it is raw bona fide honey straight from honeycomb with medicinal value. Would definitely go back for more.

The best honeycomb my family ever have!

I just brought one home from the store at Shops on Yonge. My family just cannot have enough of it. This honeycomb is so divine and delicious. MY kids were eating it straight like chewy candy. I absolutely love the fact that it is raw bona fide honey straight from honeycomb with medicinal value. Finally I found something healthy to give to my family in replacement of processed confectionery. Thank you and look forward to come back for more.

Fantastic Honeycomb

This honeycomb is absolutely fabulous. Unlike other honeycomb, the wax doesnt seem to be as prevalent, it is much easier to consume and really adds to the taste. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price, I find it much more expensive than other honeycomb, however, I will still be buying it again just not as often as I would if it was a little cheaper. All in all, delicious honeycomb.
