As of March 3rd, 10:20AM EST, the 25% tariff on Canadian goods is expected to apply from March 4th. All orders made from now and in the future will likely be subject to this tax. We will be shipping mostly via UPS and UPS may charge an additional duty and/or brokerage fee for your delivery which will be the responsibility of the receiver. At this time, we do not know if this will cause delays or how the couriers will charge the import costs.

As of February 4th, 2025, the 25% tariff to be imposed on all Canadian made goods going to the United States has been delayed. As a result, shipments are made to the United States without any change. However, should the tariffs be applied, on delivery attempt of your shipment, there may be a duty fee (and broker/customs clearance fee) that will be collected by the courier.

Feb 13, 2:16PM EST: Most of the backlogged packages seem to have passed customs now and is either on the way or delivered. The clearing of border doesn't seem to be FIFO, but rather random. So some orders as old as shipped on Feb 1 are still on the border while new shipments are being cleared.

From Monday (Feb 17), we expect that we should be able to start shipping with UPS again as our default courier.

As of Feb 11, 10:21AM EST: UPS seems to have started clearing the customs on earliest orders made in Feb 1~Feb3. But there still seems to be a large backlog and slow speed in clearing the customs. We will continue to ship with FedEx if the delivery method is not specified.

As of February 7th, 11:25AM EST, UPS is reporting delays in shipment from Canada to the US. We will try to ship with FedEx where possible to avoid this delay by UPS.

If you ordered with UPS selected as paid shipping, we will continue to ship with UPS per your order.

For shipments that were already made with UPS, we do expect them to go through eventually. But we do not know for how long the delay will persist. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Due to recently implemented tariffs resulting in changes to the U.S. import declaration processes, shipments from Canada to the U.S. may experience delays. The UPS Service Guarantee has been suspended effective February 4th, 2025, and until further notice, for all UPS delivery services to the U.S.

Contingency plans are in place to help ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as possible.
