What's in the box

Five jars, boxed together for the season: three raw honeys and two organic infusions, 2.1 kg of honey in total.

  • Organic Raw Wildflower Honey · 500 g : creamy and white, certified-organic Alberta wildflower.
  • Northern Canadian Raw Buckwheat Honey · 500 g : dark, bold and malty, from Northern Ontario.
  • Boreal Forest Raw Wildflower Honey · 500 g : the flagship, mild and floral, single-source Boreal Forest.
  • Organic Cacao Infused Honey · 300 g : organic wildflower honey and organic cacao, closer to a chocolate spread.
  • Organic Cinnamon Infused Honey · 300 g : organic wildflower honey with Ceylon cinnamon, warm and sweet.
Flavor Profile

Five jars that cover the full range, from mild and creamy to dark and nearly savoury, plus two that behave more like spreads than honey.

Wildflower  is the mellow one: soft, floral and creamy, the everyday jar.  Organic Wildflower  is lighter and more delicate, from a different biome out in Alberta.  Buckwheat is the outlier: dark, malty, close to molasses, and it tends to land immediately or not at all.

The two infusions are a different thing again.  Cacao  is dark and thick, closer to a chocolate spread, with the cacao doing most of the talking.  Cinnamon  is warm and sweet before it is spiced, gentle Ceylon rather than the sharp cassia in most cupboards.

Across the table that means a honey for every job: the two wildflowers for tea and coffee, the buckwheat for a cheese board, and the infusions for toast, baking and dessert.

Ingredients

Per jar:

  • Organic Wildflower : 100% organic Canadian honey.
  • Buckwheat : 100% Canadian honey.
  • Boreal Forest Wildflower : 100% Canadian wildflower honey.
  • Cacao : organic Canadian wildflower honey and organic cacao.
  • Cinnamon : organic Canadian wildflower honey, organic Ceylon cinnamon.
Texture & What to Expect

The two wildflowers arrive thick, pale and creamy , not runny and golden. That is not a defect, it is the proof they are real. Raw honey crystallizes naturally into a white creamy set when it is never heated or filtered. Stand a jar in warm water if you prefer it runny.

The buckwheat pours.  It stays dark and liquid, because the floral source is different. Nothing has been done to it either way.

The two infusions are thick and spoonable , closer to a spread than to honey: the cacao dark brown, the cinnamon warm brown. That is the cacao and the Ceylon cinnamon folded through the honey, not a sign anything has gone wrong.

Because nothing is filtered out, you may spot fine traces of  beeswax, pollen and propolis  in the raw honeys. That is not sediment, it is the hive. And because none of it is heated, the natural enzymes stay intact instead of being cooked off.

Each honey is a  single annual harvest , so colour and thickness shift a little from year to year.

For the Thanksgiving table

Five honeys means one for every part of the meal:

  • Tea and coffee : the mild wildflower and organic wildflower stir in clean and sweet.
  • Toast and cheese boards : the dark buckwheat holds its own against sharp cheese and charcuterie.
  • Baking and desserts : cacao honey over ice cream or into a glaze; cinnamon honey on pastry and roasted squash.
  • Dressings and glazes : any of the raw honeys whisk into a vinaigrette or a ham glaze.

It also makes a ready host gift, boxed for the season.

Lab Results & Certifications

All three are tested every harvest at an independent laboratory: antibiotics, pesticides and glyphosate all come back non-detected. The Organic jar is additionally certified by EcoCert. Every document is public.

  • Antibiotics, pesticides, glyphosate: non-detected, all three
  • EcoCert certified organic (the Organic Wildflower jar)
  • Kosher for Passover · COR 902 · CFIA SFCR

Where the Three Come From

Two of the jars come out of the Canadian Boreal Forest in Northern Ontario: the wildflower from a single apiary deep in the woodland, the buckwheat from organic buckwheat fields in the same region. That distance from farmland and cities is the whole point. No spray drift, no city, and the honey tastes the same jar after jar.

The organic jar comes from the wilds of Northern Alberta. Canadian organic rules require every floral source within a 3 km radius of the hive to be organic too, roughly 28 km² of protected forage, which is why certified-organic Canadian honey is hard to come by at all.

All three are single-source and never blended. Each traces back to its own fields and its own bees.

Questions (8)

Can I have it shipped straight to the person I’m giving it to? Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout and the set goes directly to them.

Why is it sold out? It is a limited seasonal run. Join the notify list and we’ll email you when it returns for the 2026 holiday season.

What if they don’t like the buckwheat? Then they still have four other jars and one strong opinion, which is roughly how it goes. Buckwheat divides people on purpose: it is dark and malty rather than sweet and floral. Plenty who bounce off it on toast keep it for tea and sore throats.

Why are two of the jars white and solid? Is something wrong? Nothing is wrong, and it is worth telling the recipient. Raw honey crystallizes naturally when it is never heated or filtered. Warm the jar gently if they prefer it runny.

Is any of it certified organic? The Organic Wildflower jar is EcoCert-certified, independently audited every year. The two infused jars are made with organic honey and organic flavourings. The other two raw honeys are single-source and lab-tested, but not certified organic.

Is it Kosher? Yes. All five jars are COR-certified kosher. Only the three 500 g jars are also  Kosher for Passover.

Does honey go off? How long do they have to use it? Honey does not spoil. Stored with the lid on, it keeps indefinitely. If a jar turns pale and solid, that is crystallization, not spoilage.

Is honey safe for babies? No. Never give honey to a child under 12 months, raw or pasteurized. That is a standard infant-botulism precaution and it applies to all honey, from every producer.
