This premium raw organic honey comes straight from the beehives of Alberta's vast Northern wilds. Raw honey retains all its healthful properties; rich in nutrients with enzymes, antioxidants, and amino acids. In its natural form, this honey contains beeswax, pollen, and propolis.

Organic certification requires a forage area that provides a 3 km radius (or 28 sq. km) around the hive that is free of prohibited substances. This eliminates beekeepers that are located near conventional farms, golf courses or factories. Organic beekeepers must also source organically raised replacement bees, must feed with organic honey and must use organic beeswax for comb foundations.

Oneroot organic
.

Our organic wildflower honey is a light colored multifloral honey made by bees from nectar of wildflowers growing in Northern Alberta. The biome of our Alberta wildflowers produce lighter colored and lighter taste compared to our Ontario wildflower honey.

Canadian wildflower honey have tendency to crystallize very rapidly and our Alberta wildflower honey typically crystallizes within days of bottling. This means that all of our wildflower honey sold is already in a crystallized creamy form which makes it more white, similar how a clear water becomes white ice.

Alberta location

Our organic wildflower honey comes from wilds of Northern Alberta, Canada. This pristine Northern location allows us to harvest our honey without the use of antibiotics or pesticides. Our single source honey is never mixed with other honey.

Organic regulations of Canada requires organic apiary to require all floral sources within the 3km radius of the hive to be organic as well. This makes Canadian organic honey extremely difficult to procure as it prevents close proximity to other traditional farmlands. This effectively guarantees our honey to be purely of pristine wildflower sources.

Hello, I'm sorry if you're disappointed with our service. Upon checking your order, I see that the order was placed on Saturday, and we shipped your order on Monday (earliest possible date). And then it took five business days to arrive, which is a bit slower than usual, but not abnormal for ON to BC, especially during the holiday season. If there was a damage, please contact us at support@onehoney.ca, and we will give you a refund or send you a replacement. Thank you.

Delicious honey with delicate flavour

I was always buying the one root’s buckwheat honey. This time I’ve decided to try this organic wildflower honey. And it’s delicious! If you prefer smoother more delicate flavour in honey, this one’s good one. My favourite is still the buckwheat one:)

The Best Honey On the Market

I have purchased honey from OneRoot quite a few times, the Organic Wildflower and the Buckwheat. So delicious both of them. They also have the best customer service if you need any help with your purchase. Believe me, try them! You don’t know what you’re missing.
