Our organic wildflower honey is a light colored multifloral honey made by bees from nectar of wildflowers growing in Northern Alberta. The biome of our Alberta wildflowers produce lighter colored and lighter taste compared to our Ontario wildflower honey.
Canadian wildflower honey have tendency to crystallize very rapidly and our Alberta wildflower honey typically crystallizes within days of bottling. This means that all of our wildflower honey sold is already in a crystallized creamy form which makes it more white, similar how a clear water becomes white ice.
a common flowering plant in North America
Our organic wildflower honey comes from the wilds of Northern Alberta, Canada. This pristine Northern location allows us to harvest our honey without the use of antibiotics or pesticides. Our single source honey is never mixed with other honey.
Organic regulations of Canada require organic apiary to require all floral sources within the 3km radius of the hive to be organic as well. This makes Canadian organic honey extremely difficult to procure as it prevents close proximity to other traditional farmlands. This effectively guarantees our honey to be purely from pristine wildflower sources.

Organic Certified
Organic certification requires a forage area that provides a 3 km radius (or 28 sq. km) around the hive that is free of prohibited substances. This eliminates beekeepers that are located near conventional farms, golf courses or factories. Organic beekeepers must also source organically raised replacement bees, must feed with organic honey and must use organic beeswax for comb foundations.
Tested for Antibiotics and Pesticides
All of our honey are free of antibiotics. Because our honey comes from unpolluted northern Canadian regions, we are able to keep our bees healthy without the use of antibiotics.
