Homemade Honey Body Wash with Castille Soap (Homemade Body/Hand Wash)
Bonjour!
This week we are introducing another DIY product that you can trust to use with your entire family! You can buy castille soap in bulk with different essential oil (scent) and make countless scented body wash for each family member.

Ingredients
- One root Organic raw honey - 4 Oz
- Liquid castille soap (We used Dr. bronner's) - 12 Oz
- Vitamin E oil (External use) - 3 tea spoon
- Essential oil (Choose based on your taste, peppermint, lavender, rose, sweet orange...etc) - 30 drops
- Carrier oil (Sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil ...etc) -2 or 3 Oz
- Soap dispense container or mason jar

How to make
- Mix Liquid castille soap, vitamin E oil, Essential Oil and Carrier oil in a bowl.
- Pour honey into #1 and stir well until it's well mixed
- Boil water to sanitize the jar or container.
- Cool down the bottle and Pour #2.
- Mix well before every use.
- Write the date you made on a container and use it for 1 month.
Coconut Milk Chia Pudding with Strawberry
Chia is high in dietary fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals. It is a great ingredient for breakfast since it's rich in fibre! Here is a great way to eat chia as a pudding. Hope you like this recipe! Super easy to make.
Ingredients
- Chia seed 1/3 cup
- Oneroot Organic honey 1 tbsp
- Coconut milk 1/2 cup (Unsweetened)
- Fruits for topping
How to make it
- Mix coconut milk with honey. Stir well until everything is well mixed.
- Prepare a clean mason jar. (Any jar with lid)
- Pour chia seed into a jar. Pour coconut mixture with honey into it.
- Let it sit for overnight
- Cut the fruits and top it on chia pudding.
- Enjoy!
Homemade Honey Sugar Scrub (DIY Natural Exfoliating and Moisturizing Scrub)

It's Oneroot beauty recipe time.
Now days, it's trendy to make your own (known as Do it yourself as well, DIY) everything. Make your own starting from small little thing such as toothpaste, face lotion, face toner, laundry detergent and big stuff up to furniture sometimes. Today, we want to introduce DIY body scrub. Most of the products that are sold in retail shelf has preservatives in it. Yes it keeps our product last longer but we do not know what theses ingredients will do to us. Sometimes those preservatives are as harmful as toxins. The best benefit of using DIY product is "you know what's in it". Of course it will last shorter period of time on your shelf and sometimes it has to be kept in the refrigerator. To some people it might sound like more chores to do but in the long term, we know it's a healthier choice for your family. So start now!
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup organic brown sugar (raw)
- 1 tbsp Oneroot wildflower honey
- 2 tbsp Organic coconut oil (liquid)
- 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar (choice)
How to
- Grind or mesh your raw sugar into fine power. (Leave some raw part for more exfoliation results)
- You have a choice to use rolled oat chunk or grind them into finer powder.
- Mix sugar with oats.
- Pour coconut oil, honey and mix them.
- Add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Stir well with spatula.
- Keep it in a jar and use it during shower to exfoliate your body.

Strawberry Chia Jam (Sugar free, Pectin free, No Heating)
Ingredients

- 2 Cups of crushed strawberries (I used hand with glove but you can also use potato mesh)
- 3 tsp of Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of Chia Seed
- 3 tbsp of Oneroot Organic wildflower honey (Depending how sweet strawberry is) or 1/4 cup of Oneroot organic maple syrup
- Mason jar (boil and dry)
How to make it

- Mesh the strawberries in a large bowl (You can heat up strawberry if you want more sticky texture, I minimized exposure to heat for health benefits)
- Add chia seed and lemon juice mix with spatula
- Add your sweetener and mix well
- Boil the jar in a large pot and dry it
- Put #4 into a mason jar and seal it tight. Let it set for at least 6 hours! Chia seed will do the magic for the sticky texture of jam
Hemp Pesto Salmon Papillote
Ingredients for Pesto
- 1/3 cup Hemp seed (from Oneroot honey)
- 1/3 cup lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup kale (remove the stem) and baby spinach
- 1/3 cup Hemp oil (from Oneroot honey)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp parmesan cheese powder
- handful of parsley (no stem)
- pinch of salt and pepper
Other Ingredients
- Salmon (no skin)
- Sliced lemon
- olive oil, hemp oil to cook
- Parchment paper
- Your favourite vegetable with Salmon (for example green beans, brussels sprout...)
How to Cook
- Preheat the oven to 375º. Prepare parchment paper in a stoneware dish
- Place your option of vegetable, and salmon. Put oilve oil over it (1-2 tbsp)
- Put a small spoonful of pesto and 2 lemon slices on top of salmon fillet
- Fold Parchment paper to seal
- Bake for 15-20 min
- Transfer the salmon onto a plate and garnish with parsley and serve with remaining pesto sauce

Ingredients:
- 35% cream 500ml
- Homo milk 500ml
- Honey 250g (adjust to taste)
- Powdered gelatin 2 Envelope
- Lemon extract 1 drop (optional)
Yield: 13 x 4oz ramekins
Direction:
- Mix cream, milk, honey, and lemon extract in a pot.
- Bring to a simmer on medium heat.(Do not boil)
- While waiting, bloom gelatin according to the instruction on the envelope.
- Add gelatin into milk mixture and mix well until gelatin is fully disolved.
- Pour the mixtures into ramekin and let it cool down until it sets.
- Decorate them with berries, jam, herbs etc. Tips: you can serve in cups or unmold them onto a plate.

Overnight Oat
Ingredients
- Bob's Red mill old fashioned rolled oats (Organic) - 4 table spoon
- Oneroot wildflower honey (Organic)- 1 tea spoon
- Nut to you Almond butter (Organic) - 1 tea spoon
- Kirkland Soy milk , unsweetened (Organic) - 8 table spoon
Prepare a clean jar, put all the ingredient into a jar and let it sit for overnight in the fridge
Serve with berries, any fruits you like, or with chocolate

No sugar Maple Oatmeal Cookie (Healthy cookie, Healthy snack idea)
Ingredients (portion: 12 small cookies)
3/4 cup of whole grain stone ground flour (@bob's redmill)
1/2 cup of Rolled oats (@bob's redmill)
2 table spoon of flax seed
1/2 cup of organic maple syrup (@one root honey)
2 tea spoon of vanilla extract
1 tea spoon of nut meg
1 egg
2 tea spoon of baking soda
8 table spoon of butter
1/2 tea spoon of sea salt
How to make the cookie!
1. Melt butter into liquid, beat the egg in a small bowl
2. mix all the ingredient in a large bowl
3. rest #1 in the fridge for 3 hours (this process will make oat absorb moisture)
4. Preheat the oven to 300°
5. Prepare a flat oven pan and place a wax paper on top
6. place the cookie on the paper
7. bake for 10-15 min until it's golden
Cacao Nibs & Nuts Cube (feat. Oneroot Wildflower Honey)
Ingredients
- Cacao nibs: 2 Tbs
- Cut Almond: 4 Tbs
- Cut Cashew nut: 4 Tbs
- Hemp seed: 2 Tbs
- Quinoa flake: 1 Tbs
- Pumpkin seed: 1 Tbs
- Dried berries: 1~2Tbs
- Oneroot wildflower honey: 2 Tbs
- Oneroot Organic maple syrup: 2 Tbs
- Coconut oil (liquid): 1 Tbs
- Ice cube tray
How to make it
- Chop the Almond and Cashew nuts with knife or use food processor to chop it

- Prepare a dry pan and using low heat, roast Almonds and Cashew nuts for 2 min
- Add Cacao nibs, Hemp seed, Quinoa flake, Pumpkin seeds and mix it well
- When it's well mixed, add honey slowly and stir well (if you apply coconut oil on spatula before you stir, it can prevent ingredients sticking onto it.)

- Turn off the heat and add Dried berries, Mix well
- Brush coconut oil into ice cube tray (Preventing sticking)
- Pour the mixture into ice cube tray and using spatula, press it down to spread it evenly and firmly
- Freeze it for 30 min
- Pop it out from tray and serve
Coconut Flour Pancake with Organic Maple Syrup (Vegetarian + eggs)
Ingredients
- coconut flour (We used "Bob's Red mill) - 3 Table Spoons
- baking powder (You can choose gluten free option) - 1/4 tea spoon
- 3 eggs
- sea salt - 1/2 tea spoon
- Any nut milk (We used soy milk) or coconut milk - 3 Table spoons
- Coconut oil (liquid) - 2 Table spoons
How to
- Prepare a large bowl
- Beat the egg
- mix all the ingredient into a bowl
- whisk above
- Prepare a pan and heat it up to medium heat
- Pour a small amount of mixed ingredients onto the pan
- when the bubble comes up you can flip the pancake
- Pour the maple syrup on top and decorate with fruits
- Enjoy!

Unsweetened Hemp Milk Ingredient
- One root organic Hemp Seed - 1 Cup
- Water 3 Cups
- Pinch of pink salt
Sweetened Hemp Milk Ingredient
Add following based on personal taste
- One root organic maple syrup - 3 Spoons
- Vanilla extract - 1 tea spoon
How to
- Put above ingredients into blender
- Blend for 30sec-1min
- If you want smooth taste, you can filter with nut milk bag (but for better health benefit we recommend drinking as it is)
